The speakers reiterated Pakistan’s steadfast moral, political and diplomatic support for the people of IIOJK and emphasized that a just and lasting peace in South Asia is intrinsically linked to the peaceful resolution of the Jammu and Kashmir dispute in accordance with the relevant UN Security Council resolutions and the aspirations of the Kashmiri people.
The Embassy reaffirmed Pakistan’s continued commitment to raising the Jammu and Kashmir issue at international forums and called upon the international community to play its rightful role in advancing a just, peaceful and durable settlement of the longstanding dispute.

In his remarks, the Ambassador of Pakistan reaffirmed Pakistan’s principled and consistent position on the Jammu and Kashmir dispute, emphasizing that lasting peace and stability in South Asia are inseparable from its peaceful resolution in accordance with the relevant United Nations Security Council resolutions and the aspirations of the Kashmiri people.
