With an investment of fifty million dollars, Egypt Cable launches its newest venture “Egypt Meters” for the manufacturing of smart meters and advanced measurement devices

In partnership with the global company HEXING, Egypt Cable “one of ElSAYAD Group companies “announces its latest investment in the smart metering and measurement devices industry in Egypt.
Egypt Cable has signed a strategic partnership agreement with HEXING to establish Egypt Meters, an initiative aimed at strengthening local manufacturing capabilities and meeting the growing demand for meters and measurement devices in both the Egyptian and Middle Eastern markets.

This partnership focuses on localizing strategic industries, increasing local content, and supporting sustainability within the energy sector. The project will contribute to developing advanced solutions that support infrastructure and renewable energy projects, while adhering to the highest global standards in production quality and operational efficiency.
Under this agreement, the Egypt Meters factory has been established, equipped with the latest production technologies, enhancing the competitiveness of Egypt’s electrical manufacturing sector. The project will also reinforce local supply chains and reduce dependence on imported components, thereby stimulating industrial growth, creating new job opportunities, and strengthening local expertise in manufacturing, particularly in sustainable technologies that support the transition toward clean energy.
